November 12th

A pleasant late autumn day for those who gathered for their weekly jazz fix.

The tunes included: Have You Met Miss Jones, The Breeze and I, West Coast Blues, Ornithology, Indian Summer, Now's the Time, C'est Si Bon, Bluesette, Body and Soul, Stars Fell on Alabama, Why Do I Love You, What Now My Love, The Nearness of You, Hard Hearted Hanna, I Cover the Waterfront, Dreamsville, Stormy Monday (blues in B-flat), Black Orpheus, East of the Sun, In a Mellow Tone, Solitude, Darn That Dream, Quiza's Quiza's Quiza's, Ceora, Something Wonderful, Moonglow, We'll Be Together Again, and Change Partners.

The participants wandering in and out through the course of the session included: Annie, Matt and Dick (vocals), Gene (drums), Bob, Greg and Craig (guitars), Todd (trumpet), Keith and Wes (tenor sax), Steve (alto sax), Russ (trombone), and Peter (bari sax).

According to Annie, the park building will be open on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, so you can include a jazzy diversion in your plans after the turkey and shopping!
