HOLLER ...

I did not attend the worksahop Jan 12th.  I hear some did, but in general the day was a bust.

McRae Park gives the workshop space to play in Saturdays 11 am to 4 pm.  When I come and there are no other players, I say to myself "how nice to have space and time to do a little individual practice".

The Jazz Workshop is for those who come and "stay to play it out"

Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most...but I'll take it over winter!

Another chilly Saturday of playing some hip tunes with some hip folks. Songs this week included: You Don't Know What Love Is, Oleo, Darn That Dream, Wave, All Of Me, Angel Eyes, Close Your Eyes, Spring Can Really Hang You Up The Most, Lullaby Of Birdland, The Very Thought Of You, and much, much more.

Coming out to play this week were: Gene - drums, Josh - guitar, Wes - tenor sax, Steve - alto sax, Todd - trumpet, Jim - piano and tenor sax and a bunch of other stuff ;), and Annie, Vici, and Dick on vocals.

NOTE: Next Saturday the 22nd we WILL be playing, starting with instruments at 11am and vocalists joining around 1pm. Thanks everyone and have a great week!
